Classes are open to all breeds, all sizes! Please call ahead to register (778-889-3723).
** Recently adopted (shelter or private rescue) receive 20% off the registration fee (offer available for obedience classes only)

Puppy Pre-school - 6 Classes - $115.00
Open to dogs from 12 weeks to 8 months. Pups will learn how to interact
and play with other dogs and people in a supervised setting. Following Dr. Ian Dunbar’s well known puppy class structure, these classes are meant to be fun, interactive and educational. Puppies must have 2 sets of vaccinations to attend.

Basics+ Obedience - 6 Classes - $130.00
This class covers all the basic commands; sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking, plus some practical techniques for urban environments. Each class ends with questions and troubleshooting, along with a different trick to keep things fun.

Monday’s - 7pm & Saturday’s – 11am (On-going)

Intermediate Obedience - 6 Classes - $130.00
This class is for those who want to work beyond the basics. Exercises will include long line (obedience and recall) training, working on voice and hand signals only, as well as off-leash heeling.
Students will advance as they feel comfortable. Basics+ Obedience (or equivalent) is a pre-requisite for this class.

Reactive Dog - 6 Classes - $130.00
This is a class for those dogs that make an embarrassing display at the end of their leash at the sight of other dogs, or other stimulus. This class will teach focusing techniques, and handler confidence. After this class you and your dog will be able to enjoy walks again.

Novice Rally-O - 6 Classes - $130.00
An introduction to the ever growing popularity of Rally Obedience. This class will cover all exercises of Novice Rally-O, each class ends with a mini course to practice transitioning through each exercise. Open to all levels. Understanding of basic obedience is required (sit, down, stay, heel).

Advanced/Excellent Rally-O - 6 Classes - $130.00
Ready for the next level in Rally Obedience? This class will cover all exercises of Advanced and Excellent Rally-O, and include trial preparation. Open to dogs who have mastered the Novice exercises, this class combines obedience, freestyle and agility. Advanced and Excellent Rally O is done off leash, although concealed food or toys are allowed at the Advanced level).

Your instructor for this course is Dana Gallagher. She trials her three rescue dogs in CARO Rally O. Sophie RNMCL, RNTMCL, RAMCL, REMCL, CARO Bronze Championship. Sophie is one leg away from her CARO Silver Championship. Chester RNCL, RACL, and Zephyr, RNMCL. Sophie is the first dog in Canada to earn three perfect 200 scores in a single day.

Introduction to Agility - 6 Classes - $130.00
Want to learn the exciting sport of agility? This class is will introduce your dog to the different challenges of agility and is a great mental and physical workout for the dogs, and often for the handlers too! Dogs will learn the tunnel, table, tire and jump as well as the foundation skills for contact and weave work.

Your instructor for this course is Dana Gallagher. She trials her three rescue dogs in AAC Agility. Chester is the 2009 BC/Yukon Regional Champion for 22" Veterans, and Chester and Sophie have both placed on the podium at Regionals for the past three years. Sophie has her ATChC (Agility Trial Champion of Canada) as well as her Bronze and Silver Awards of Merit. Chester has his ATChC and Bronze Award of Merit and Zephyr has just started trialing. Dana and her three dogs are part of the President's Choice Superdogs, performing at the PNE
